TMC Weekly News - March 20, 2026

Good afternoon TMC Parents/Guardians,

What a fantastic week to head into the break. I hope the families that were able to come in for Parent-Teacher interviews had constructive meetings, there will still be three months left in the year when we return and if you continue to have questions or need information about your students’ learning please continue to communicate with your child’s teachers.

The last three months of the year tend to move quickly, I hope all our students can enjoy their week off and come back rejuvenated for the home stretch of the school year. A special thank you to homeroom 9-5, yesterday the students helped pick up 3 garbage bags of litter from around the school that the thawing snow had exposed. And another big thank you to school council who provided supper last night for our teachers, along with a special treat: dirty soda drinks from local vendor Cool Drinks.

TMC Badminton

Badminton tryouts will start as soon as we return from Spring Break. The full schedule can be found in the Athletics section of the TMC Website https://twelvemilecoulee.cbe.ab.ca/athletics

Important Reminders for first tryout

Grade 9s: 7:15am on Monday, March 30^th (doors open around 7:10am)
Grade 8s: 3:20pm on Monday, March 30^th (likely goes till 4:30ish)
Grade 7s: 3:20pm on Tuesday, March 31^st (likely goes till 4:30ish)
Grade 6s: 7:15am on Tuesday, March 31^st (doors open around 7:10am)
