TMC Parents and Guardians,
This week we finally have had some nice Fall weather for our outdoor activities in PE and Athletics, and it was great to see parents out at our soccer matches. Below you will find some information regarding the clubs we offer at TMC and there are links to purchase TMC gear and Fun Lunch. Our first Fun Lunch is next week and the cut off for purchasing is Saturday. On Wednesday night during our boys’ soccer match there were several individuals using electric dirt bikes on the field opposite the soccer match, some of them were TMC students. I did not get a chance to address all individuals that were using the bikes. However, that equipment is not allowed on school or city fields as it causes damage to the grounds, in addition it was distracting to the fans watching soccer. Please speak with your student if they have a bike. Moving forward if I see individuals using the electric dirt bikes on the field I will reach out to the Calgary Police Non-emergency line to address this behavior. Fundraising Opportunities
TMC Casino
Our next fundraising casino is fast approaching on Tuesday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 7 and we need your help to make it happen! Volunteers are needed to fill a variety of positions. It's fun, easy and a great way to connect with other parents plus you get delicious free food during your volunteer shift. Each casino typically raises over $80,000 for our school. In the past casino funds have paid for programs, field trips and equipment including teacher supplies, art supplies, technology, food room equipment, gym equipment, weight room, theatre lights, projectors, grade 9 farewell and many more items.

Choir Club Tuesdays, after school 3:30 - 4:30pm.
Yearbook club Wednesday at lunch
Pages and Pens will be starting the first Wednesday in October (October 7). This is a club open to all grades that focuses on providing students reading and/or writing time for their own personal projects. The club meets in Mrs. Croswell’s room 3:20-3:50 pm, and she will be there to supervise readers and help writers develop their work (whether it be long-form fiction, short stories, poetry, etc.), give feedback or critiques, or help submit to writing competitions. The idea is to read, write, and relax after school before transitioning home.
