Open House – Thank You

Thank you for the support of our Open House last Thursday. I saw many students who were in attendance and excited to bring their parents to the school to meet their teacher, and “check out” our classrooms. Hopefully it was a relaxed “meet and greet” for all.

Our School Survey

Twelve Mile Coulee School will be participating in an online school perception survey for students called the OurSCHOOL Student Survey. This anonymous survey is completely voluntary for all CBE Students.

CBE’s Education Plan prioritizes student voice and well-being in our decision-making processes. Responses from this survey are used at the system and school level to recognize and improve what is necessary for students to feel safe, welcome, and cared for when at school.

Grades 4-12 students provide feedback on sense of belonging, positive relationships, anxiety, feeling safe at school, life satisfaction, and general health, orientation to well-being, goal-oriented, self-regulation and cultural awareness of others.

Grades 6-12 students provide feedback on depression, self-esteem, and cultural awareness of self.

Demographic questions are also asked on this survey for norming purposes. These include general questions regarding age, gender, indigenous status, immigrant status, home language.

Student Fees

All optional course student fees for first semester have been assigned to parent accounts.  

School Council

Our next School Council meeting is this Thursday, October 3 at 7 PM, in-person in the learning commons. We hope you can join us!

Games Club

Games club has started on Mondays at noon. The supporting staff are looking for games donations. If you are able to make any donations, please drop them off at the main office.
