In recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day, and in alignment with the CBE Education plan, Twelve Mile Coulee School acknowledges and supports the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s (TRC) Calls to Action and makes a commitment to action for the 2024-2025 school year https://twelvemilecoulee.cbe.ab.ca/school. In support of this commitment, your teachers will inform you of the various activities occurring during this week at TMC culminating in Orange Shirt Day on Thursday, September 26.

Come with your students!!! Meet the teachers, explore the various learning areas in TMC school, get informed on the various aspects of your student’s schedule. The format will be drop in. Your student’s teacher will give you further details.
Terry Fox Run
Unfortunately, we had to cancel this run on Friday, September 20 due to weather. However, the phys-ed team will be running a modified version of the Terry Fox run during their phys-ed classes the first week of October.

No School – Friday, September 27, 2024 and Monday, September 30, 2024
This Friday there is no school as this is a Professional Learning day for all school staff. Monday, September 30, 2024 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There is no school for students and staff.
Student Fees
All optional course student fees will be assigned to parent accounts in the next two weeks. Field Trip fees will be assigned as teachers finalize plans for different activities throughout the year.
