TMC Weekly Message - November 21, 2025

Good Afternoon TMC Parents/Guardians,

It looks like winter is finally starting in arrive in Calgary next week, today during our homeroom block teachers discussed lunchtime expectations with our grade 7-9 students. These students will have the option to stay inside during the second half of lunch as long as they follow the school rules when the weather is colder. We are going to start this on Monday.

When it looks like it is going to be a nice day, we will adjust and have the students go outside. Our grade 6 students will continue to follow their regular lunchtime routine unless the weather is cold, as per CBE guidelines. Please continue to encourage your student to dress appropriately for the weather. Also, our students selected a new School Motto: “Once a Titan, Always a Titan”. I will be exploring signage in the building over the new few months.

Parent teacher interviews are next week on Thursday and Friday. Below is the information that I sent out last week.

Grade 6 families will meet with both HR teachers at the same time (Math/Science with Humanities)
Grade 7-9 families will pick each teacher they want to meet with. For example, if you only want to meet with the math teacher you only set up one meeting, all subjects/teachers are booked separately.
IPPS will be sent out by November 21. They can be reviewed, signed, and returned by November 28.
Parents will be able to start booking interviews at 7 am on November 20.
If you are unable to book an interview, please reach out to the teacher you wish to speak with via email.
We still have several teachers that are on leaves (Cockburn, Khan, Koch, Craig and Clark), some of the temporary teachers will be here but will be able to provide a limited amount of feedback given their length of time in the school. For grade 6 families please book with the other teacher for your HR if one of the teachers is on leave.
