TMC Weekly Message May 23, 2025

TMC Parents and Guardians,

Next week our grade 6 and 9 students will be writing their first PAT of the year. The start of PATs brings the unofficial beginning of the last month of the school as we enter that period where staff are wrapping up topics with our students for year end assessments and looking at the transitions for next year. I am also sure many families are waist deep into spring sports, such as soccer, baseball, club basketball, spring hockey and lacrosse, not to mention students involved in dance and the performing arts; so, students are likely busy in the evenings too. I hope students and their families can enjoy their weekends and any down time during this very busy time of the year.

In addition, during spring we see an increase in animals in the nearby coulee, we were made aware of some of our students behaving inappropriately around a moose and its calf. Please remind your students that if they go in this area at lunch or after school to be careful and to not interact with the animals as it can be very dangerous for both the animal and the student.
