I am pleased to announce Chad Flaman as the new principal for Twelve Mile Coulee School effective February 24th. Principal Flaman will be meeting with Acting Principal Patty Numan in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.

I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the students, staff and families of Twelve Mile Coulee for your patience and support throughout this transition and our HR processes. This includes taking time to provide input that will be key to supporting Principal Flaman's leadership at TMC.

TMC Parents and Guardians,

It is with great excitement that I am sending this message to you today as your new Principal beginning on Monday, February 24. My name is Chad Flaman, I have worked with the Calgary Board of Education since 1997 as a Science teacher, PE teacher, Coach, Learning Leader, Assistant Principal and Principal. The last 9 years I have been an administrator at James Fowler HS, Senator Patrick Burns middle school and most recently the Principal of Nickle middle school for 4 years. I have an extensive background in working with middle school learners and building a collaborative, engaging school culture that emphasizes student learning and engaging experiences. I look forward to meeting all members of the school community and working with you to make TMC a great place to grow and learn.
