Dear TMC Titan Students, Parents and Guardians,
CBE Conferences Booking System
We had issues with the new CBE Conferences Booking System and in the way it was set up and had to delete the old set and start with a new set. We apologize for the issues, but it was the best way to fix the issues.
This new set of conference bookings will open for families to book today, Monday, November 20, 2023, at 4:00 pm.
TMC will be giving extensive feedback to the developers through the board. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. We are looking forward to a meeting with you all in person on Thursday and Friday!

Reminder – Student Learning Conferences on November 23 and 24, 2023
A reminder that student learning conferences will be held on the evening of November 23 and during the day on November 24, 2023. There will be no school for students on Friday November 24, 2023, due to the conferences.
Light it Up! November 25, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm!
Join the Tuscany Community Coalition for some good Christmas Whoville cheer, as we celebrate a tree decorated by those who live near
neighbours and residents, kids, grandparents - the who’s all joined together, to bring cheer in any kind of weather….
Even the Grinch will come to see this fun, to see where love and joy really come from,
and to his amazement he will see, the kids bringing toys for others in need.
Listen to the music, drink hot cocoa, and have sweets, a festival for all to take part in fleets.
Join us for this first-ever celebration down from Tuscany Way, where the Grinch’s heart will grow three sizes that day. ❤️
Oh, and for an extra cozy touch, bring your favourite holiday mug to enjoy your hot cocoa, making it uniquely yours!
Please see the attached PDF under Resources for more information and the map!
TMC Blanket Drive
TMC and Aaron and Mallory would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who donated their gently used blankets! We will have a lot of fun distributing them to Ukrainian evacuees, new to our city, who are in need of a little warmth. Please know that your donation is truly needed and will go to a good home. Aaron and Mallory were touched by the generosity of everyone, as were we all!
Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week – November 20-24, 2022
Remembrance Day leads us into Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week from November 20 to November 24, 2023. Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week is a time provides schools and students the opportunity to learn more about the role that bullying can play in our schools, workplaces, and personal lives, as well as to learn how to stand up for others who may be the target of bullying behaviors. TMC students will be engaging in self- and group-awareness activities on our journey to creating a safer and more welcoming school community. It is a time to promote awareness and understanding of bullying and its impacts.
Bullying is a relationship problem that involves a power imbalance, which is why it can be so challenging to overcome it by ourselves. Regardless of where bullying happens – in school, the office, at home or in the community – there are people and resources that can help. This year’s theme, #WhereToTurn, encourages everyone to recognize that help is available, no matter who or where you are in the province. By using the hashtags #WhereToTurn and #BullyingAwarenessWeek, you can help raise awareness that there is always somewhere to turn for support. Together, we can all strive to model healthy relationships and stand up to bullying in our homes, schools, workplaces and communities.
Tuscany Area School’s Parent's Night "An evening with Dr. Allan Donsky"
We would like to cordially invite you to ourupcoming Parent's Night "An evening with Dr. Allan Donsky". This is a special evening for parents to join us at one of our sister schools, Tuscany School, for a conversation with Dr. Allan Donsky, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. In this evening session we will be discussing how parents can maintain a connection with their kids and help them build resilience in the world.
This event has been organized by the school councils from Twelve Mile Coulee School, Tuscany School, Eric Harvie School and Bowness High School. There will be light refreshments and snacks as well as a few gift baskets supplied by each school's council. Our event will take place on Thursday, November 30 at 7:00pm at Tuscany School. (See the email from School Council for the QR code to sign up.)
As always, Work Hard, Learn Tonnes and Be Kind!
