Dear TMC Titan Students, Parents and Guardians,

Amazing to think we are at the end of October already! Thankfully, students can make sure to come by the bake sale on Monday November 6 or Tuesday November 7th during lunch at the servery window. The bake sale is to raise money for the Calgary Food Bank. Everyone who uses the food bank each year would be very grateful if you could help them out!  Buy a few brownies, cookies, and much more. Hope to see you there!

Reminder – Thursday November 9 is a CBE wide PD Day

There will be no classes for students on Thursday November 9, 2023 as it is a CBE wide PD Day.

Reminder – November 10 to 14 – Fall Break (new in 2023-24)

The last day of classes for students will be November 8 before Remembrance Day. Classes will resume for students on Wednesday November 15.

Halloween Expectations

• No masks or faux weapons with the costumes. (This is Mr. R’s expectation as when students feel anonymous they tend to make negative choices.)
• Normal school rules apply at all times for dances and the spirit afternoon. We expect excellent behaviour for this event, and that our students demonstrate appropriate and safe behaviour the full time.
• All students MUST go back to classrooms at 3:00 pm SHARP for attendance with their homeroom teacher, before they are dismissed.

Halloween Dance and Spirit Afternoon from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm on October 31!

Grade 7 Leadership is pleased to announce our Halloween Dance and Spirit Afternoon, taking place on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 31st. We will be hosting an afternoon dance, from 1:30-3:00 pm and there will be alternate activities for each grade level for students who do not want to be in the gym for the dance! ????

TMC Food Bank Drive

Our TMC Food Bank Drive is up and running!  Please start bringing in items. Just “One to Feed a Tonne!” If every staff member and student brings in just one item, we will have a tonne to donate to our neighbours in need.  See the display in the foyer. The class that collects the most items of food will win a class Fun Lunch and Leadership students will be your servers.
