CALL TO ORDER

APPROVAL OF JUNE MINUTES

TMC ADMINISTRATION REPORT

1. Spirit Wear:

○ Updated the teacher/staff sweater inventory

○ Custom temporary tattoos

○ New website

○ Renewed domain

○ Banner & Flags for sporting events:

2. Staff Appreciation:

○ Staff had the opportunity to complete a google form wish list to help us know the different allergies, preferences, needs and wishes

○ Each classroom were given class set of pencils, lysol wipes, coloured white board marker set, assorted sticky notes

○ Stocked kitchen with assorted beverages, packaged snacks, coffee, tea, chai, creamers, fresh fruit. The team will continue to refresh these items regularly throughout the year.

○ Stocked Bath & Body Works hand soap & refills for staff bathrooms and kitchen

○ Cart was added to the staff bathroom upstairs with the same amenities as the bathrooms in the staff room. Feminine supplies have also been replenished.

○ Parent Teacher Conference Dinners: Do we want to ask for specific donations or set a budget?

○ Additional funds might need to be added to replenish the budget for what was used for classroom supplies which were linked to the staff appreciation wish list.

○ NEW committee member Stacy Buckland will be joining the team

3. Meet the Teacher Open House, September 10: Table was set up welcoming families and sharing information about council and trying to recruit new members

4. Terry Fox Run, September 18: We provide all students with Made Good granola bars, Welch’s fruit snacks and Chapman’s Lolly popsicles. Handed out during the run by volunteers.

○ Meeting dates?

7. Jacket Racket: Decision needs to be made if our school will collect items or if we will push to a local donation site instead. Volunteers required to run this program.

8. Kindness Box: Is this something that we would like to continue? Do we have a leadership team this year? Students are eager to do well, be kind, keep the fields clean but need incentives.

9. Council Admin:

○ Ordered custom stickers & pens. These will be used to promote council, at events, meetings, in the office, etc.

○ Casino promotional printing

○ Additional funds requested for this budget,
