As the school year comes to a close, we are excited to celebrate the achievements of our grade 9 students as they prepare to embark on their high school journey.  The grade 9 farewell is a longstanding tradition at TMC and we can't make it great without a bit of help from our fantastic volunteers.  We have a few opportunities that still need filling. If you can help out with any of the positions below please reach out to Kennedy Whitby at klwhitby@cbe.ab.ca.  Remembering that we will have grade 9's at some point and we will need to ask for volunteers then. 

Volunteer Positions

• 1 or 2 parents to help with decorations and setting up the gym from 1:15 to 3:15 on Monday afternoon. 
• 1 or 2 parents to be at the school to receive the pizza at 6:15PM
• 2 parents who can stay in the gym during the dance to help hand out the pizzas and man the food table/clean up afterwards 6:45 - 8:30. The same volunteers who come to collect the pizzas and stay for this position if they want to but please sign up for both time slots.

Agenda and Times

• 5:30pm – 6:30pm – Celebration and Farewell Ceremony in the gymnasium. Student should arrive 15-20 minutes early to check in with homeroom teachers. Guests are welcome to be seated at that time in the gymnasium. Doors will open at 5:00 pm for seating.
• 6:30pm – 7:00pm –Opportunity for families to visit and take photos
• 7:00 pm – 8:00pm – Grade 9 TMC students ONLY pizza party and dance
• 8:00 pm – Students are dismissed. Families can pick up students from the school or students can self-transport home.

We are counting on some volunteer support to give our grade 9 students the send off they deserve.  Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to our school.
